Is it possible to design a map larger than 256x256? I am thinking of making an RPG but im not sure if i want to make it in 3-4 different maps because of the rather small size limit (imo)
thank you for the reply. There is no need to use the science vessel as the SCV repair will work for what i am trying to do.
I tried adding this to a reaper as well and i have the exact same outcome as before. Right clicking will not autocast it, and it does not heal anything.
I am trying to make a robot that's sole purpose in life is to repair. Ive tried this two seperate ways - Duplicated an SCV, heavily modified it to be basically an immobile repair bot. I did not touch the repair ability, and for some reason, it will neither autocast, or if manually cast - It does nothing.
so, then i tried to create my own repair ability. I made the effects/buttons/abilities/ and linked them all to the repair robot. Same issue. Wont autocast, and wont repair anything if cast manually.
I am trying to create a map where you wall off your base and defend. The enemies are told to attack-move to the target region inside the base, however, It seems that when you block off the base (The point of the game), The enemies to not path to the base. I want them to run up to the wall-off and begin attacking the wall, but they wont path there when its blocked off. Is there any way to fix this?
Hi. I am trying to remove the requirements for siege tanks to go into siege mode. Ive tried everything I know, and ive been snooping around in the editor for about an hour trying to figure out how to remove it. The requirements for other units like Marauders were easily removed by going into the Build ability on the barracks, going to ability info - Marauder - and removing the requirements there. However the siege tank requirements seem to be different as i cannot find out where to remove the requirements.
Thanks
