I beat an Insane AI by holing up on an island in the map Extinction. Actually it was a FFA with 7 insane AI (all Zerg), and I just built two bases on the islands and defended them with missile turrets...I waited until all the AI had killed each other and only one was left. The last AI never built broodlords or a massive enough air force to destroy my defenses, so I eventually just amassed 16 battlecruisers and wiped out his ground army and all his bases.
I'd assume that the premium maps would have looser file size restrictions than normal battle.net maps in order to allow room for custom models and sounds, etc. Obviously 10 mb isn't enough for a truly new experience, and only players with dial-up wouldn't be able to download something larger, if dial-up even exists still.
Eventually I'm sure someone will get around to editing the floodlight model and taking out the floodlight but leaving the light effects, and that will be the flashlight...just a matter of time.
Most people will probably be pre-occupied playing single-player while the servers are down at release (which of course they will be). I don't think this will be an issue...if you don't want the storyline spoiled to any extent, just play through it before using the editor.
This patch certainly threw a monkey wrench into a good amount of what I had done in my map(s).
I think I'll just wait 20 days before attempting anything major.

I was a member of WC3C a long time ago. I think this is probably the most comparable site for Starcraft 2.

Have you tried changing the sounds' volume in the data editor?

Same thing has happened to just about all third person cameras since the last patch. Not sure if anyone's found a solution yet....

Awesome. Good luck with the AI project. Are you making the AI for the default game types?

Need a fairly good graphics (or at least recent) card to run high shaders smoothly, from what I can tell.
Mine is definitely in need of upgrade but I'm using a laptop so I can't. I have a Geforce Go 7600 and it can run the game with high shaders, but not too smoothly. I'm thinking Radeon HD 5770 would probably be sufficient, even one of the reviews is from someone who's playing SC2 beta, although he didn't state which preferences he was using. Doodad lighting effects require your shader settings to be on high or above.
As for the original poster's question, I am uncertain.

It's a day barely over 2 weeks away, they probably won't see it as question worth the effort of answering in specifics.

That mech looks a bit front-heavy, like it's about to topple over. Change that and add some more detailed texturing and it might not look too bad.

That's pretty neat, I think that Shard of Adun would make a nice boss or something.

A 'white' tint should remove it.
