I am trying to do a gamemode that's pretty similar to Dawn of War 2 in gameplay. So I would need a cover system, the things you hide behind is destructibles. And if unit is close to it AND behind the object it would retrieve a buff.
(This is the hard part since it needs to test which angle the enemy is shooting from.)
I've tried the sentrys shield, but that don't work since even if a unit is on the wrong side and not covered it will still get the buff.
Please help me. it's one of the most important parts in my map.

So like if someones firing at an marine behind cover off an destructible wall, then the wall will take damage and not the marine.

It's like some of the models vertexes don't do as in WoW, for example my humans stomach and back is too far back from the rest of the body.
I just wanted to say, that I am looking for a position in a team (Would love some SP campaign or something)
Something I noticed in WC3 and here is that I am far to lazy to do maps by myself.
The thing is, I come up with a story and such (Yes they are actually good) But after I can never finish a map.
So now I'm looking for a team that I can story write for.

In the pciture you are in the units data tab, swith to the actor tab and you should be able to see behaviors in the actor event list.
(if you want to add behavior, then just add event and choose "Behavior" in MSG Type, then choose the detector spell (10), (11) or (12) from the source name list.)
Not sure on last one tho the Sub name thing, but I think you only need to choose "on" in that list for detectors.
If you are gonna do demon Assassin (and use WoW models) then I would say something like the Deathwhisperer http://www.wowhead.com/npc=19299 in hellfire peninsuela. And Rook can be a stone giant.
Unclean Beast: I must say Lurker is almost an copy of it just with six legs instead of four :D
Sedna Could be a little digitalized maybe, so that she mounts a predator and you just attachs an character like nova on her back (in this case the predator will do all the animations for attack and such.)
