Nevermind, solved it using another way. I used the same way as in TRaynor2 map from campaign.
General idea - you have an item, which pereodically serches for target, and when it finds one, it lauches the ability.
In triggers, you need to detect it with this:
I have a question regarding event of picking powerups. How does the event actually work? I've set up a powerup with data that just adds a blank behavior (done with this tutorial). Sadly, the event doesn't trigger at all.
This is needed for detecting an item pick up. I don't want to use data inventory, I've created my own simple inventory, but I can't figure out a way on how to make it recognize the item picking. If anybody can tell me an easier way, I'd be very happy. :)
Units HP can't exceed HP's maximum. So, if you set units hp(percent) to 110, it reverts it back to the maximum possible - to 100%. You should change the action to modify it's maximum health. If I recall correctly you need to use the catalogs.
Also, the models looks good. As for the stand animation - make him act like he's checking his firearm(the glowing one), make him clean himself, and just targetting(like a marauder in sc2 campaign).
Catalyst fell down because of lack of updates. The project was stopped at one point, and Catalyst held for 1 month (I guess?).
Also, there's nothing bad with no brainer games, if all people like it :D make it for the masses, If you want your map/game to become popular! :D
Hey Neon, I'm also russian. And for me, there is exactly no trouble using english.
Also, this band is ukrainian, and they have a bit different native language. Exactly native language determines your future speaking abilities, because certain languages use different sounds, which "sets" our throats to speak exactly it.
I think you just ran into a specific group of people that has problems with english pronunciation/grammatic.
P.S. I didn't watch the video, maybe missed the topic of the discussion :D no aggresion intended ;) I'll write a normal reply later :D

Yes, saw it when playing some maps. I think it's done with data, and I'm pretty sure that it's 100% possible and working.

Well, it's kind of strange, but then, having N triggers for N buttons is actually overkill. That simplifies it a bit :)

Just use a condition insted Conditions: Used dialog item == ArchmageAscendus

You're remaking Rise of Legends? Great! :D
