Change the footprint to 1x1. Change the scale of the model to fit the new footprint accordingly.

If the issue is seeing the wrong buttons/description, chances are the builder's command card is not correctly specified. The ability would come into play if it was building the wrong building.

I got this bug after the 1.1 patch and found an easy fix. Delete whatever game variant(s) you have and remake them.
