No if you went to BlizzCon because you thought you were going to corner the developers under oath or something then you wasted your money because that's not the point of the event. I have to laugh at the idiots who go to the lore Q&As and throw gotcha questions at Metzen like if they can stump him on the lore they win at life and get to be the new lore dev or something. The whole convention is just a way for people to have fun and socialize with other Blizzard fans. The fact that they do panels and Q&As is a bonus, although for the people who don't actually attend those tend to get the most attention because those are what get streamed.
Uh, it's a weekend. If they weren't at BlizzCon they wouldn't be working anyways.
Seriously, BlizzCon is just a fun event they throw primarily for the people who attend to interact with each other and Blizzard employees. It's not a fucking Senate hearing. They only people who have a right to complain about it are the ones who paid $40 for a stream that had technical issues and didn't even broadcast most of the tournament matches.
Posted an updated version that disabled the music triggers, which might be the cause of the crashing. If you were crashing regularly before I would really be interested in hearing whether or not this fixes the problem for you.
I didn't get a chance to see that panel but it seems like a waste of time for them to do any "how-tos" at BlizzCon, instead of just laying out their future plans for the editor and talking about upcoming changes to the custom maps system. Also did they even announce the contest winners yet? I need to know who to be bitter at.
Also, pretty stoked at the new assets in Blizzard's maps. I saw a bunch of new Zerg models in Left 2 Die, new hero models (and improved versions of existing ones) as well as structures and doodads for Blizzard Dota, and a couple of new ones in Aiur Chef.
It's not a "bash" at Valve to make a tribute map, no more than they're bashing PopCap with StarJeweled. You know what they say about imitation and flattery, anyway.
The DoTA issue might be a source of contention but at the end of the day Gabe Newell is a WoW addict and the WoW devs all play Valve games, and the future of "DoTA" is up to the lawyers.

What I use in Sorcerer's Defense is to store the creep's movement target using custom values (one for x and one for y.) I have a damage effect that deals 0 damage called "Signal Creep Stun End" which all stun-type behaviors trigger on expiration, and then a trigger which listens for that effect and re-issues the movement order by looking at the saved custom values to reconstruct the target point.

Send PMs to people who have done reviews or video commentaries. Make sure your map is finished. polished and ready to be reviewed first.

I sent it to my EU publisher so it should be up within a day or two.

It seems to me the best way to resolve the trademark situation is for Valve to name their product "DoTA Allstars 2"

Jay Mohr is plenty funny when he goes off-script. It's when he's reading lame gamer jokes from a script that he's insufferable.

Try setting the ability's arc slop to 360 and see if that fixes it.
