Hey bro, you don't know me, but I've heard you were a big-name mapper back in the day. sen is still going if you're interested, and there's plenty of old farts that probably want to see you back there ;D
Nope, that's a WC3 map. We never really had a WC3 section. Although, I'd certainly like to work with the UA people on UA3 for SC2, but that depends on if they want help and if they're coming to SC2.
Incidentally, 2 people from here signed up at the RCDF forums. Remember, you don't have to join RCDF, you can just sign up to discuss zombie mapping and maps.
Don't bother making it gmax-compatible, I'll just try find someone who'll make a standalone program, maybe using python. If you want to do that, that'd be sweet ;D but I understand if you don't have the knowhow or desire to do it outside of max.
That isn't possible without online banks, which blizz, unfortunately, doesn't seem to have implemented. I'm also interested on how you plan to achieve players leaving one map to join another in-progress map?
Clan RCDF is the premier Starcraft zombie clan, and we plan to be the best for Starcraft 2 as well. We have a couple of mappers, but are always looking for more, to make quality zombie maps. So if you've been looking for a zombie clan, enjoy having a good time, and like long walks on the beach, then join RCDF today!
Hmm, I was under the impression they had included the .dds plugin as standard. Make sure you have the latest GIMP version, and install the plugin here: http://registry.gimp.org/node/70
Is this ever going to be a standalone application? I can't afford max, nor do I want to torrent it, and it'd be great if we had even a command line program to convert from, say, collada to .m3.

Oh, and check your PMs ;)

Incidentally the script doesn't work for Gmax :( Got a syntax error. Can't wait till there's a standalone program or a blender script.

I'd still like to know how to communicate between maps + join maps in progress ;)

Can you explain how to join other maps in progress + communicate between maps? Maybe write a tutorial about it? Thanks.
