Hi everyone, I have a problem, recently I make a Garage Blocker unit, it's based on Garage Destructible. I set fields of footprint in this way:
Footprints > Layers+
Layer > Pathing
Unpatheable Terrain: all nine cells (3x3).
Layer > Placement Apply:
Define Sets > Set One:
Block Vision: Check
Ground - No Spawn: Check
No Build: Check
Set > Set One: all nine cells.
Layer > Placement Check:
Define Sets > Set One (Invalid)
Ground - No Spawn: Check
No Build: Check
Set > Set One: all nine cells.
Footprints > Shape+
Same that Layer+.
The problem, I insist, it's in editor, not in game, I can semistack two of them. Editor only disallow the placement for central cells... what is the problem???

About the second option... is not be a very big waste of resources? If you use 2 units in instead of one... it affect the performance of the game... I think... or I'm wrong?
For example, using Campaing:
Go to Behaviors > Firebat - Viral Plasma
Right click in ViralPlasmaBurnModel (Unnamed) and choose Explain Link, if i'm correct this must show you something like a tree of objects links:
In this tree the actor ViralPlasmaBurnModel (Unnamed) has been linked from Firebat - Viral Plasma, thats means that in field "Events" of Behavior has set the Actor in cuestion. But in reality the actor have a field Events where is set the behavior... it's a bug of Explain Link? or what?
Well, after various hours, I'm too close of solution. But I don't have a clue where is the option for set the model when flamethrower attack.
1.- I do a full duplicate from Flamethrower of the firebat.
2.- (Units Tab) Reaperine: Combat - Weapons+: Change P-45 Gauss Pistol to Perdition Flamethrower. This works fine!
3.- (Units Tab) Reaperine: Combat - Weapons+: Change Perdition Flamethrower to Perdition Flamethrower Copy. Don't showing flames and don't reproduce sounds.
Well, my problem is not the jetpack, my problem are the flames, that it is suppose flamethrower should have, while the unit is attacking, and the no sounds. I have tried various methods, in all I got the same result: Damage is OK, Jumps Cliff is OK, Look like a Marine is OK, kill by fire is OK... but I not see any flame and I not hear any sound. That is the short way of all methods, without detail.
Only know that problem is with the weapon or the actors of effects. While Reaperine has a P-45 I can see shoots and hear sounds from him. After the change of P-45 to Flamethrower that problem ocurr.
Hi, i would make a map, with random labyrinths, but I'm pretty new in this. I have seen a map that generates a maze with destructible debris, these debris has been modified and looks like temple walls. These debris are not destructible. What steps I need take to do that?
Moreover... I have seen in debris options that can choice the footprint size (1x2, 2x1, 1x1, 2x2...) How I can make a blocking wall for path and visual with various sizes?
And... how I do all the above using a doodad model?
I try changing both options, and nothing happended, it's same thing. But at least I could solve the problem with the marine, thanks to Magi66.

How I set window mode in Galaxy? When I test the map from the Galaxy Editor, this had adquired a different configuration respect of when I run the game directly. I don't see any config file in Starcraft 2 folder, something like config.ini. Any suggestions?
What program is used for recording the video tutorials where can see the modifications in Galaxy editor and testing in SC2? I try with Camstacia, Hypercam and Fraps...
In Camstacia and Hypercam the video is displayed in black when I'm in starcraft 2, testing the map.
Fraps... only record the map in galaxy editor, when I leave starcraft 2 the galaxy editor launch an error.
Any suggestions?

You can see in the image, 4 marked areas, 2 blue and 2 red. The blues are similar, and the reds too. But blues and red are not similar. This is because the mesh of map, that it's generated with triangles, each cell of grille it's composed by 2 triangles. In the second image you can see the dispose of these triangles in the elevation. Anyone who has used 3d studio or similar software can easily understand the visual problem and his solution... but in galaxy editor how I can modified the mesh of map for a correctly the visual of elevation? If it have...
2nd Visibility of High Ground:
In the second image, you can see 2 units, one of them in the low ground and the other in the high ground. How I can do that unit in the high ground can see the unit in the low ground, but the unit in low ground does not see the unit over the high ground?
3rd Param/Value Text:
When I download a map from mapster and I test it, all custom strings, description and any other text can't be read... because in that place appear Param/Value/xxxxxx text... I suppose the other problem, it's no possible change and save the maps because have errors in triggers, and the triggers have no names, it's the same problem. Any solution for that?
