Seems like I'm getting no traffic at all. When I publish my map and it works, can people join it or what? Maybe they don't see it on the list of custom games?
Ah, well then I'm part kicking myself and part disappointed. I figured that there would be a way to actually turn the turret. This seems like a workaround/hack way.
So did you do this from scratch or did you use some images already found, or a bit of both? I see the zerg one had some mirrored units so that's when I made an assumption.
I think you did an amazing job with what you have, regardless. I'd like to see the protoss, a little more like protoss. A nice immortal in there would be awesome.
I think range slop is how much difference it will allow between acquiring the range for an attack and the attack itself, because the attack animation itself takes time, like the thors.
Like when you acquire a unit at this range, and then it moves when you actually fire the bullet, the range margin in that.
I think the consensus was that if you character is off screen, kill them. I think this was done via simply killing all units off screen, or if not, then constantly moving a region to the center of the camera, then killing all units outside the region.
"Actor - Make (Actor connected to (Actor for Siege Tank (Tank Mode) [29.00, 34.00]) via reference "Turret") face (Angle from (Position of Siege Tank (Tank Mode) [29.00, 34.00]) to (Position of (Last created unit)))"
Using "Make Actor Face Point" and "Actor From Actor"
EDIT:
Nope, still trying things. I'm on to something though.
EDIT:
This is stupid, I can't find anything that can get the actor of the turret. I'm going on the IRC.

What happens?

Blizzard has got to have an editor patch somewhere. I don't understand how item passive effects and behaviors could not supported.

I'm also getting an error message in-game when joining or creating games. Ah, I just forgot the exact error, but it was similar to:
"USER_CREATED_MAPS_DISABLED"

That map does not load any names for me. All the triggers and variables are blank.
Mind posting some text-code? Something is definitely wrong with the strings displaying in the editor. I opened it up in MPQ editor just fine.
Also @s3rius:
Create a tank, then reference the turret via "SiegeTankTurret" by using (Actor From Actor) sub-function in triggering.
Then order the turret to Destroy.
The turret does not disappear, it only detaches from the tank.

Oh my god I need that map. That is what put a halt on my own map-making. Please upload the map.

Yeah I had a problem with that too. I wanted the player to be able to look around, but not zoom in or zoom out.

@dra6o0n:
I think I found something.

How would I do this with say, a siege tank?
0
How do I view the triggers. They are not imported or anything. It's like he used an MPQ editor to edit the galaxy file.

Cool, but a little inconvenient.

I plan on making one too. Except call it Raynor party.
