So after wrestling the efff out of 3ds max and the m3 plugin by good sir NiN I finally got it to import m3 models only to find that I can't seem to use it for what I wanted- which was to edit a beam effect animation. The other effects that actually load look pretty messed up too.
Is this a known problem? Is it local to my computer? Will we e'er be able to mess with these effects?
Thanks <3
Also, while I'm here, does anyone know how I might be able to at least change the hue of an existing beam? I tried messing with the color in the editor but it didn't seem to actually have any effect :(
