hi guys, ive recently made a sheild ability, but come into abit of bother with finalising its effects.
the shield makes the caster invunerable for ashort duration, upon the shield receiving damage the caster throws fireball(generic spell) at said attacker.. but i cant get the the fireball to fire, im using guess work . what sort of requirements and behaviours should i set up for the generic fireball spell to auto lock on to the attacker, and end the sheild effect. all while it fires. in my head i envision a search effect based of a requirement that links it to the sheild ability, but i cant seem to link it all together,
ok i logging into battlenet click downlaod, im stil on the battlenet listing screan after download , now how do i open it/resave wasted enough time on this needlessly,
Edit ....resaveing this is a complete ball ache to a part time hobbyist, why not just a direct download on this site.. i can't open the file to resave because i get the dependency error, and i cant find the file that is downloaded from bnet to open manually. the File-open- resave to mod is poorly explained, if you cant open the mod from the editor because of the dependency error that wont let you open the mod because it requires it to be named a different name then i cant resave it to that different name , perhaps im missing the glariously obvious.
yeah thought so, currently trying to kit bash a dark templar to look human, as a side project also trying to get the hang of nova covert ops addon as nova herself has the monocular blade animations. my skill with blender is super limited and im just finding my way as i go along.thanks for the info
this is exactly what i was looking for, still can't get textures to show in blender like on the above pictures, i am a beginner and am editing mostly alleyvipers custom models and other peoples work. to learn from.
sorry for minor bump, but as i understand it i couldnt use this method to apply a psi blade to a ghost for example, because the ghosts model doesnt have the aniamtions for ipsiblade attacks , im trying to geti nto this whole sc2 editor, but so far it seems way easier just kitbashing a dark templer model to look like a terran
