Ok.. so I saved and closed my map to go test some things I wanted to acomplish on another map so I didn't have to adjust my timers too much..
I figure out the problem, close that map and reload the map I'm actually working on..
and now my hero unit is a white half-orb..
I checked the unit models they're all still set to "raynor"
my top dependency is still "liberty story (campaign)"
The unit worked before I closed the map.. I have no idea what could have caused this.. Any thoughts?
Never mind. I had changeling marines instead of marines and those don't load -_-
also while looking over my post AFTER posting I found the ability to "choose" specific units to load.. yay for realizations while asking for help after spending 3 hours messing with something.
Hey guys, so.. as the title states.. I have a medivac spawning and moving to a point. medivac is neutral player 0.
units owned by players 1, 2, 3 and 4 change ownership to 0 when the medivac arives.
I then have trigger
events
- Timer - elapsed time is 5.0 game time seconds
local variables
conditions
- Actions:
unit - create 1 medivac for player 0 at medivac using default facing (no options)
unit - order (last created unit) to (move targeting The Units)(Replace existing orders)
general - Wait 5.0 game time seconds
unit - order all units in (last created units) to (medivac - load (medivac) targeting (unit attached to (entire map)))
(replace existing orders)
theres another timer that ticks off during that wait to swap units to player 0. this isn't working though.. any suggestions?
Hey guys. having a bit of trouble with this as well..
I'm spawning 5 zerglings.. and I want to order them to attack at a certain point.
i've tried looking through the element lists for "for each integer, player in player group, real, and unit in unit group"
I've not seen the increment selection.. and I can only seem to order special abilities for specific unit types.. no basic "move, attack, patrol" etc..
So... I was creating a "hero" scv on a whim a few days ago.. and noticed that the ability for a worker unit to build is just an ability.. probably similar to any other ability, so.. you might be able to create a building off in the corner of the map and give it the ability to build.. although I don't know how you would work out having the footprint drop without the correct proximity...

ok... So while waiting for a responce I went and started creating a new hero.. the editor crashed while editing the actors for it..
I reload the editor back up about 30 minutes later and now my first hero is perfectly fine... This makes absolutely NO sense to me..

I would have to agree! it was an awesome game and I would highly enjoy seeing it ported to bnet ;) good luck!
