sorry for taking so long to reply ive been busy the past few days but i changed the upgrade to only do 125 so now its working mineral wise but its dmg isnt increasing at all. how do i fix that?
Yes I got everything set up except when i click the button all it does is take 5 minerals and say upgrade complete but nothing changes, the cost doesnt even increase
I've been trying to work the weapon upgrades and every tutuorial i look at has not worked.
I want to give my custom unit an upgrade ability directly on his command card.
Could anyone explain to me or give me a link to a tutorial for creating and setting up a custom weapon upgrade that will increase in mineral cost each time. I prefer to do it via data editor but at this point ill look at triggers as well.
1 button to upgrade damage, 1 button to upgrade attack speed, & 1 button to upgrade attack range.
Each upgrade will require a specific amount of minerals to successfully upgrade. And should be able to upgrade infinitely with the cost of minerals required increasing each time. Also the upgrade should only affect that 1 specific unit.

I duplicated an upgrade and then set it to have 255 levels and then tied it to activate on an ability used by the button on the unit

I have about 8 unique units on my map.
I want to give each of them 3 buttons.
How do I get started with something like this?
