Im a big fan of the C&C franchise, from the first days. So if you really work on it, i would love to see the results!
I once did some kind of a mashup map called "Conflict and Combat", its still up on EU servers. You can find the models from Nanakey&Delphinium and SgtNoobkilla on this forum. If you need inspiration check out my map.
The map has get major updates the last time. The Orc quest is ready now, also i changed these things (beside little details):
- There is now shared gold for the primary missions
- Implemented completely new revive-system: you now have karma which resurrects your hero at starting point immediately. (1 karma = 1 live)
- Added a lot more items you can find in treasure chests, especially weapons and shields (even more in the making)
- Did some balancing to the charakters, maybe not yet perfect, but much better.
- Game is easier now, with having stronger weapons and armor, so there are 2 more levels of difficulty now.
- Added the A+leftclick feature due to so many requests, and also a stop function.
- You can now ping the target of the primary mission, to know where to go.
I wonder why people dont like the camera...? Is it because not noticing that you have a rpg-camera, common usual for this type of games?
You are able to zoom in close and far out with mousewheel and angle the camera in every possible way by yourself while pressing and holding down mousewheel/middle mousebutton + moving mouse.
Of course yo cannot pan the camera, i think its not very necessary and the camera follows the hero, so you dont have to...
Its the default rpg-camera by Blizzard, implemented in the Editor.

For my excuse: Im actually not that much into RPGs, just played Diablo 3 and Guild Wars 2 a few times. But i thought it would be fun creating a nice map including all that fantasy stuff Blizzard and the mapster community offered over the time.

Its simple, straight forward gameplay. Focusing more on atmosphere (terrain, music, HQ-models)
Of course all of it depending on my current editor skills...
There is a known bug, that if you leftclick into minimap (or press space at event), the camera wont follow your hero anymore.
No one could yet help me out of this, sadly no solution worked.
So, just dont do this!
Its in german language by request of friends, but i added english subtitles.
Im currently working on more items, weapons, enemys aso. A large orc-area is also in the making.
Working on an rpg with tps camera, using the triggers:
camera - lock camera mouse relative mode off for player...
camera - turn camera mouse rotation on for player...
camera - follow for player...
Everything works fine, i can adjust camera view in all directions while pressing down middle mouse button, and camera follows the hero.
But: if i left-click in the minimap, the camera view stays there and doesnt follow the hero anymore! Even with repeating the "camera - follow..." trigger periodically, it doesnt work. Although using trigger "camera - pan..." will shut off the mouse rotation.
Just want to say thanks to Funky here, read the "Im for Hire" post just in the moment i stumbled over an unsolved problem in my map and he helped me out very well!
Didnt even understood all aspects of what he did, his knowledge of the editor is outstanding imo!

1. Is there a way to prevent a active behavior from showing up with icon in the unit info panel? I want some shown, but some not.
2. How can i change the default picture of unit armour icon (ie.: terran infantry armour)?
