I was just laying in bed moments ago, pondering how the hell one of us here nerds could solve the laggy, laggy problem of the key press event.
Am I correct in saying that pressing hotkeys for spells and abilities does not cause the same lag? If so...
Isn't there a way to make abilities run triggers? We could set up spells on the command card for moving in certain directions, with hotkeys of W, A, S, D. Each button would run the trigger that is otherwise activated by the key pressing event.
Keep in mind that I probably don't know what the hell I'm talking about, as last night was an awesome party.

Due to my own inexperience (relative to yours and most of the community here) at the editor, I had some issues with implementing your trigger, but it was all mistakes on my end. I've fixed it. Your trigger works perfectly exactly as you wrote it. Apparently the editor doesn't like to read global integers in one trigger that were set in another... I even had the wait for trigger action.
You could make square regions with a point in the very center of them. The point spawns a Purifier Beam blast mark doodad facing 270, and the region hides terrain cells in that area. The blast mark Z scale should be set to 10 for a proper look.
Figured it out. Called them and waited on the line for an hour before getting an answer. The account was hacked (yet I don't know how they did it, I use the best security tools, have no viruses, etc etc. That's why I didnt suspect foul play) and they changed my e-mail to a Gmail account in China. My WoW account is frozen because I stopped paying, so they used the Refer a Friend thing to refer a fake account, get my account open, and steal stuff.
I can't log in to my Battle.net account, and I can't even use password retrieval services to see if my account was hacked. It claims there is no such account with my e-mail registered to it.
Who would I contact about information on this?
Is Blizzard pissed at me for working on a map called Where's Waldo?

No such luck for me. This problem needs more exposure. Googling everything about it has produced no results. Doubtful Blizzard knows it yet...

Bump. This needs attention. Can ANYONE figure out a way to fix this darn thing?

This had better be one of the Editor fixes in 1.1....

@Jackolas: Go
Thank you very much. I will put this in right away.
But you are getting credit... at least, anonymously. ;)

Hello. I'm looking for a trigger that would randomly select a player from the players currently in game, excluding computers.
I also need to be able to reference that chosen player in another trigger.
Any tips that help in any way will get you credits in my upcoming map.
Thank you in advance.

@Mastershadow:
They use abilities because the AI in melee matches has it's own personal triggers as well. They're a lot more complex, though...
Maybe it's possible to get them to be smart about it by using the melee AI, but I don't know how. Doubt it's possible anyways.

Maybe this will help you.
Portrait - Hide (Game portrait) for (All players) (Do Not force visible)
Another option is to add a UI button on the screen that activates your camera lock on the unit once more.
