The min/max values are unrelated to your problem. They are to give a particular model a random size. Some zerg units and structures used this in WoL.
I checked, and Void Prison does indeed make use of auto scale factor. Check the "Zeratul Stun Model" actor, this is the one you're looking for.
Thanks...I turned it off and it helped for some units. Unfortunately, now it messed up the size of the void prison for other units such as Baby Ultralisks/Pygamists and zerglings... :( I'm gonna play around with it to see if I can figure something out.
The tutorial map attack thing looks really similar to a map I made in SC1. :p
Apparently it needs HotS b/c I'm missing a lot of textures and there aren't any triggers for mass attack orders to a moveable point?
The other one doesn't have what I'm looking for either. Thanks anyways.
My autoscale factor is zero at the moment? Should I still change it?
I was able to tweak min/max models and unit scale to reduce the size of the void prison...but it's still pretty big. :/
I played around with it and set min/max to the same value and tried to get art scale as close to 1 as possible. I still don't understand what min/max actually does.
Hi there,
Can anyone help me with mass attack triggers? Either show me here or link me to somewhere.
I've searched around to no avail. I used to create these all the time in SC1 but the SC2 triggers have a very steep learning curve... :(
I'm trying to create a trigger that allows certain units across the map to attack to a certain point...ie. In Heaven's Last Defense or Helm's Deep Attacker Triggers. I've actually looked at the trigger code for one of the versions of HLS but it was very convoluted and had blobs of triggers upon triggers.
Basically I want this:
1. Have an Observor act as a mass attack point (I think I got this by having a point follow the Observor Unit around every 2 seconds), and
2a. have the Observor be able to cast an ability to automatically triggers the mass attack and have everything (except a few units) attack to the Observor.
OR
2b. have a separate unit move onto a region/point or cast an ability that triggers the mass attack and have everything attack to the Observor.
Hi there, I've been having problem with giving other units the Void Prison ability. When I use the ability on some units, it creates a normal sphere slightly larger than the unit. When I use the ability on a few units (mainly an edited Omegalisk, an edited Hydralisk, and an edited Brutalisk), it creates a sphere MUCH MUCH bigger than the unit itself. The sphere is huge, something like 5x the size of the unit.
I have these edited units on a different art scale - some bigger and some smaller. I have other units that I made much bigger in the art scale, but the void prison ability works fine on them. What is the problem?
I was wondering what affects the graphics of void prison?
I posted this in art too b/c I'm not sure where this belongs? Sorry if that's against the rules.

Anyone else have simple code for spell-activated point-mass attack triggers?

Can you copy and paste the trigger text?
thanks
