Hi, needed such tutorial.
Downloading and installing plugin, creating very simple model (like plane or box) in 3d editor (blender or 3ds max), mapping texture and exporting - importing model in galaxy editor. Setting model properties in data editor an placing it on sc2 map.
I was trying to accomplish that al day long, trying many ways but failed ( See in this post for details: link).
I think there is a lot of people who stopped map development on this seems to be simple stage. And tutorial about it would be great.

Hi, I`m trying to create map with site logo on it. Do it in following steps:
1. Open 3d editor end put simple box in view.
2. Convert box to editable mesh
3. Create and apply sc2 material with sc2 layer for created box
4. Add bone to object and export it to m3 file. It completed succesfully. and a i got 9-kBs m3 file
But after importing file to galaxy editor i got this in preview windfow:
This mean that model is incorrect. I was trying to import model back to 3d editor and it was ok. But it cannot be corectly imported to galaxy editor.
Using 3ds max 2011 with m3 plugin.
Does anyone have same problem using latest sc2 resources? How can i resolve it ?
