is there currently no way at all to save bank data to an external server database?
if not, i think blizzard should consider implementing a means of doing so.
now of course this would bring up the issues of overloading the server and everything but there are EASY work arounds to that. (like requiring a server connect and password to be entered into the chat, you could also pass username and password for authentication/character selection etc)
this could allow multiple servers (hosted by small communities at their own expense) but keeping the map / game the same. (maybe allow global variables set by the external database to allow certain things, like dbl xp bonus stuff like that)
another incredible feature would be join in progress.
both of these features would be just awesome for your map, as well as many other map ideas out there.
i was working on creating a forum for my team (team-nsp)
i created one successfully, but then i tried to delete it.. and now when i try to edit my forum again it gives a 403 forbidden.
:(
is there any way i could get this looked into? i promise i'll TRY not to mess it up again.
(i also posted this on the curseforge ticket system thingy, so please disregard if you guys have nothing to do with it :) )
I was able to get a unit to use a photon cannon as his weapon, and i added a turret to this weapon, so he can now shoot from any angle.
If i set the weapon property: (None) - Target Filters to allow it to attack without being told to attack, my unit will now continuously attack while moving :)
that's super.
my next obstacle at this time is to develop a targeting style of system.
my goal is to not allow my unit to attack unless i have specified a target. (think of eve online if you are familiar)
then, once a target is acquired, it will continuously attack that target and i can issue movement orders at will.
if anyone is interested in helping me, please feel free to contact me on AIM: fineyoupickit

one issue i am having is that my hero unit gets to level 3 (out of 6) and then stops all actions. and is unresponsive too.
it may just be how i duplicated it. (because he doesn't have all the right commands either...)
