GSL2012 Blizzard Cup is held by GomTV. In the same time, it plans to look back at and to conclude the year 2012, providing three kinds of Tour Awards, Best match, Most Popular Team and Most Popular Player.

The 3 top players of each group advance to the playoffs.

Team EG of Starcraft 2 released official news on December 11th that, Original TSL Zerg player Revival has formally joined Evil Geniuses. As Korean players Puma and JYP are all former players of TSL, and they are getting very well with Revival, it is certainly Revival will join EG.
It was announced that, Revival would represent EG-TL to take part in SPL in January.
Battle.Net of North America released the news that Heart of the Swarm would add leveling system in the Beta test.In the Heart of the Swarm leveling system, players earn experience while playing Blizzard matchmaking modes and custom games on Blizzard maps. You’ll earn XP for the race you’re playing with each unit you build or destroy. Experience is awarded at the end of the match, and accumulates as you level up from 1 to a maximum level of 20 for each race.
