I'm trying to make dialogs which are completely opaque. I set the dialog transparency to zero but it is still see through.
If I set transperancy to 100 it is completely invisible and when I set it to numbers lower and lower it gets less transparent but never becomes fully non-transparent.
This is a screen shot of the dialogs at transparency set to zero:
transparency issues
As you can see it is still very much see through. This will make the dialogs unreadable when there is one dialog ontop of another
does anyone know what could be causing this problem? I have created dialogs in other maps and never had this problem
the dialog is still transparent because the image file that is used is transparent by itself. no matter what you do it will always stay transparent because its just how the image was designed.
in order to make the background non-transparent you have to create a custom image for the dialog and import it into the editor, or try to use a dialog item (image for example) and try to cover the transparent areas with it.

You could layer it up with stacked images of it. Eventually the transparency will be gone, but the performance will surely drop.
