Seriously I'm tring to attach a tenticle attack to a corruptor and have no clue how to do this, I just what the tentacle to show when the corruptor attacks like those overseers. And every time I look up tentacle it6s UBERLISK UBERLISK UBERLISK!!!!!!!! :(
Plz will someone do a totorial on just tentecles and no bloodly uberlisk.
Basically you just have to do what is explained in the uberlisk tutorial and use an overseer where he uses the ultralisk (and adjust site operations, ofc). However, I have to admit that I never got an uberlisk to work even if tried it several times. WOuld be really great if someone writes a tutorial that explains how to attach tentacles to a unit in a way that a noob like me understands :D

There is a map attached, maybe you can figure it out. It is really not that hard to do. You can basically copy the effects and actors (its just like 1 effect and 2 actors to make them work - very similar to a normal missile attack, about the only change would be the missile model has to be a tentacle, the missile actor a tentacle actor and you need a return mover in the missile effect)
€ well, after reading the complete post, you probably meant this by "those overseers" and did have a look at the map already. Just tell what is not working for you.
People tell you to look at the uberlisk link because that's how complicated it is to attach things to other things. It's not easy, and there is no easy way of explaining it.
it took me a day to just recreate a spine crawler.... the tentacle attacks are horrible, whilst they look cool they are a horrible thing to try and put together. It is definetly more advanced data work, There are several tutorials i will be writing but they will come after I have beta version of my project running
