Say i upload my map to battle.net, and it stores some data. If I update my map to a new version, will the old bank data remain if I didn't change the bank triggers at all?
I hope it doesn't get erased, but I haven't really seen any maps that make good use of banks update versions (that I've noticed)
It wont get erased, you can load the same old banks if you specify the old name. At this point in your update you can create and copy it to a new bank however.

thanks. :)
The bank file is stored locally on the player's computer. Just look in the folder were the replays and stuff go.
It is a text file which can be easily edited by anyone with a keyboard... that's the problem.
So yes: your map will be able to load the bank file if you haven't changed the name of the bankfile (which you didn't)
