Is there a way to rotate existing pictures like arrows? or portraits

So far I can only rotate dialog item - image by the action set dialog item rotation. Button doesnt seems to work

I believe that doesn't work properly. I would suggest you to export the image rotate it and then import it back.
I just tried it out Genopath, worked fine. At least with 90 degrees.

Nice necro! Also, 1.5.0 fixed the bug which made it possible for rotated dialog pictures to breach the dialog's borders. So the image wasn't cut off at the dialog's edge anymore.
Yes, rotating an image through using the trigger is fine - it is how I do quite a bit of the special effects in my map.
Exporting an image to rotate it is stupid, don't create excess work for yourself.
