how do i do this?
1-3 players must start in 1-3 locations randomly.
4-6 players must start in 4-6 locations randomly. (start location or create units).
(1-3 players must not start in 4-6 locations. start location. same as melee).
The lobby detects and associates players based on the order that they enter the lobby not there position; you however are to detect which players are on which teams which will help you set the positions for each team in game by using the "player is on team" condition.
player is on team condition and? how do i do this? even if i understand what you say, i think i dont know how to do this with triggers or something. how do i make 1-3 players start in 1-3 start locations? and 1-3 players must not start in 4-6 start locations. i think i can do this easily with create units trigger but i want to do this with start location because i dont want to make units. but i think it is the only way... and make players treat each other as ally in the same region. if player moves to other team in lobby, he becomes enemy..
player 1, player 2, player 3 must start in start location 1, start location 2, start location 3.
they must not start in start location 4, 5, 6.
and player 4,5,6 must start in start location 4,5,6.
is it too hard in sc2 map editor? i guess i must give up and find other way..
This is actually very simple, but it sounds like your troubles come from being new at the editor- I'd recommend looking up tutorials on making basic maps, and organizing teams. Google is your best friend.
For this issue, though, open your map in the editor. At the top, there is a 'Map' dropdown. Click that, then click Team Placement (Advanced). It should be obvious what to do from there.
