First set here is a forest map i've been working on, lower heights have the darker muddier greens, upper heights turn into that yellowy moore land kinda thing
All maps I create are playable, in the sense that they are designed for singleplayer, RPG/Campaign play.
I've never released a map in my life :x.
I say playable, but my ability to make triggers and manipulate data is terrible. Stories for maps remain in my head and never really make it beyond the actual enviroment.
I could release my work, but I worry that people will find these fully terrained and doodaded maps with paths and RPG elements completely thought out and throw some triggers, data, and units in, then upload and take credit D:.
Though, i'm probably being silly.
If you want to take a look through a map of mine i'll happily send one for you to trawl through within this week.
You're a moderator and stuff so I trust you.
Oh you have more pictures/terrains laying around? Any chance I could get a link to those post so I could check them out? :D Couldn't find anything on the last couple of pages :(
Korhal Concrete (A waste of a texture spot for this map)
The Haven Grass Rocky, Agria Dirt Rough, and Agria Foliage are the 3 main ones i used on the lower areas.
The lighting is erhm, a muddy kinda poo greeny brown for the ambient colour, the rest of the settings are geared towards making the ground look like its wet.

I'll erh upload another set.
Older work is inferior!
Interiors are my GODDAMN PASSION.
I'd kill a man for some form of walkable stair doodad that didn't require dicking with terrain height so much.
Blizzard are really shooting themselves in the foot by not taking advantage of interior terrain sets. Even just interior doodads like those there carpets make a crazy difference.
Map is a campaign rpg style thing meant to resemble a royal sky port. Rest isn't as complete as i'd like.
That area really reminds me of the entrance of... is it Illium? From Mass Effect 2. It's beautiful. Loving it. Not much more to say, I barely have any tips. The brilliance of indoor terrains is that you can add SO much detail and make it look so incredibly awesome...
I am reaaaallly digging your style man. I'm actually currently devloping (okay, still just designing) a Zerg RPG, and I would be so happy that I would get the chnace to get some stuff made by you... eventually... sometime.

Looking very very good :) Can't find stuff that I do not like.
So where can we find your maps, Ababmer? Always liked your stuff but never got a chance to play any of it?
@Mozared: Go

Feel free, I'm always curious for interesting stuff and your terrains tend to be well done :)
