"I don't want one position, I want all positions!" DJ Ruby Rhod; Fifth Element
Our team would benefit from any assistance from any position. As we grow I would like to have a few people dedicated to particular areas (ie. sound/music/voice, art, video editing, data editing, model editing, etc.). For now I would be appreciative of anyone's assistance from all positions and skill levels. My goal is to have our team grow while we all learn from each other.
Presently I am working on the design documents for our first map and have already finished the terrain for the map. Next up on the list is to get the actual meat and potatoes together for the game. ;) Everything from the tech-tree, regions, spawning, and editing.
I am waiting until we have a few people on the team to set it up here. We will name the team together and ensure that we all have a shared common vision for the team.
Email me if you're interested or want more information about the current project.
Thanks for your interest! We hope to hear from you soon.
I may be interested in your proposal. I recently made a map and finished it, but now I want to make a new one. But I don’t have any ideas. I am average with triggers, and good with terrain.
I would still like to have a couple 2d/3d artists on board, web designer, and female voice actress (when the time comes). Other positions, as they're needed, will be requested.
First SC2 project... I did make a few maps just to mess around with triggers and what not, but they're all very basic (defense against waves mostly). This project is far more ambitious though.
As for anything of significance, I have completed my tour of active duty in the Marine Corps (honorably). I led more than 140 Marines daily... and completed a number of missions and goals. Though not completed, I am presently working on a board game and have also helped to design table-top rpgs (the system, mechanics, and fluff) from scratch. I was a 50% participant in the conception of my son as well! I consider that VERY significant (admittedly, my x-wife did most of the work from there though). :D I've also completed at least a thousand fully prepared meals! lol
Seriously though, I tend to go overboard (by others' standards, not my own obviously) on my pet projects. At the moment I'm also working on redesigning an rpg system to run a game that I have in mind. For this game I'm also working on a fully interactive 3-d map of our solar system and every system within a 20 ly radius (a tool to help accurately calculate travel times and to illustrate to the players the what and where aspects of the universe around them). I do realize it is a bit overkill since they'll have very little access to FTL travel; but there will be some... and there is always superluminal communication. I was originally going to school for game design years ago, but have since (now that I'm back in school) changed for Business (toward my MBA).
Anyway, back to your question. The simple answer is 'no'. ;)
[edit] I will also say that I am taking this team seriously and putting a lot of time into it. Once I hear back on my proposal for a name, I will have a logo made by one of a couple artists that I personally know (whether I have to commission it or they will do it as a favor depends on the artist I go to though lol). I will likely also copyright the name and register (as a business) at some point later if the mood strikes me that I should. ;)

InsanitySektor, is this your first project or have you actually completed something of significance before?
