Hey, im making a remake of the map "Mafarazzo TD" for Sc2 (Arcarde-Map, Tower Defense).
I really need help of a pro here, the map editor is too crazy for me...
I started remaking the map, i completed all triggers, made the terrain, the first 4 waves, the machine tower, the blend tower (incl upgradeability) and the builder...
Im really struggling with the rest of the towers, and thus i need a real professional, who can advice me personally (skype/teamviewer) how to do the job.
Although i think there are no more experienced modders active since 2 yrs i hope that someone with a good level of experience will help me with this map.
The Map already exists, u can see it log in to bnet, start sc2, klick on arcade, search for "Mafarazzo" and thats it.

Time is not relevant, as long as it gets done anytime and progress is noticeable.
Earlier i decided to recreate the complete Map incl. original Balancing, because it seemed that the creator is not available, but he recently sent me a pm, maybe he will give me the original map-source, idk.
Im a complete noob with Sc2 Editor as well as Mapping itself, i never ever created a map in any game...
(but im a professional software-developer, so triggers f.e. are very familiar/easy-to-use for me)

I'm pretty good with triggers and data, as I've worked with it for a while now. I've even completed and finished a map of my own last Summer.
I've played Mafarazzo TD myself a few times - and never could finish it myself. I think it was the wave after the first air units. If we could make it just a little bit easier, it would be perfect.
I agree, single player mode is a bit OP, but dont forget this is a multiplayer-team-play map, try it with 3/5 players and u will see, from wave 13 its way too easy and needs to get little bit harder...
But this are tweaks that have to be done after i finish the rest (towers, terrain, triggers etc.) of the map.
Unfortunately im not the owner of the original map, so i have to recreate the whole thing.
I can probably assist you. I will not be able to code up everything for you, but I can provide examples of certain concepts and walk you through what various parts of the data editor do and why they work. Since you are a software developer, I can provide some analogies that may be more understandable to you. Also probably can explain certain more obscure parts of triggers that may make your code cleaner, or more straightforward.

How big is this map? can you post pics and whats the time frame you are talking about here?
