Granted this might not be the absolute perfect way but would surely work; i would suggest something like a function defintion that returns the unit type of your special random units. Then in the trigger just have it place a unit using the function and generating a random integer to pick the unit type.
Speed and vision are all basic stats through the units tab of the data editor.
