I have been trying to make a custom weapon that uses the point defense laser beam/model, but instead of stopping missiles, I want it to cause damage like a normal weapon. I have tried to copy and duplicate the point defense laser, but there always seem to be problems, such as the energy cost not going away (no matter what!), and the laser beam pointing the wrong way. Any suggestions?
