bienvenue welcome wilkommen alligato tchao et tutti quanti
mapster will rekindle your fun
if i may, star2 is patched regularly so tutorials might be a tad outdated :) but mapster is the one with the most tutorials all around (and the involvement of the posting members is palpable)
there are many friendly "ask questions" members and even self proclaimed "mentors" on the site and the trick is (obviously) to get them through the proper forums/threads.. and to be patient when you do send them your first pm (don't be shy and ask several :) )
type as many key words as you can think of (td maps, tutorials etc..) to find the proper forums/already useful and relevant posts and you will quickly identify several people willing to help get you hooked (then, as in all things, it's a question of pugnacity :^p )

although galaxy is purposefully not user friendly, its capabilities warrant the effort (well if you discount the no lan/lag notion)

(hahahhhahahahahahahahahahaha, lousy joke, sorry couldn't resist :^p )

uhhh, reading "google" two post down, i realize i forgot: search function on mapster is your closest friend to start out ;^)
