it's VERY possible, but depending how far point 2 is, will take some tweaking, also, this probably won't work too well if your caster unit is not casting from the same location.
create a new Effect: type Create Unit, then modify Location+; set to Target Unit/Point, modify Spawn Unit; set to your unit you want spawning. Everything else stays default(leave Spawn Count at 1)
create a new Effect: type Create Persistent, then modify Period Count; set to 2, Periodic Offset; make 2 of them, one set to 0,0, the second one set to X,Y of your second location, modify Periodic Effects; set to your above "create unit" effect.
Just link the Create Persistent effect to the effect on the ability, and you have yourself a spawning ability that spawns 2 units with 1 click at 2 different points.
This can be easy for you, or hard, depending if your ability is cast from a mobile unit(hard to pull off) or from a stationary building that never moves from it's original location(quite easy, just time consuming).
Periodic Offset 0,0 spawns a unit DIRECTLY where you targeted. So, if you have 0,0 and 3,0, you get Unit 1 at target point, unit 2 will spawn 3 places to the left. This is true wether your caster faces straight up(unit 2 spawns 3 spaces left of unit 1), facing to the left(unit 2 spawns 3 spaces below unit 1), facing down(unit 2 spawns 3 spaces to the right of unit 1), facing to the right(unit 2 spawns 3 spaces above unit 1). Diagonal cast directions also work the same, except will be location Top-right or bottom-left of the unit spawning at your target. This is why a mobile caster using this ability would not really work too well. But if you have a building or whatever cast this ability from 1 permanent location, you can simply change your second periodic offset to match whichever second location you want it to spawn... unless of course you just want unit 2 to spawn in general, and not at a specific location... in which case, ignore this last paragraph :P
