You can use Markers. Make one of the on-target effects apply a (ID-type?) Marker, then stick the No Markers validator on the effect that's applied by the Search effect.
Markers usually only remain valid within one effect chain, so multiple spellcasts/caster units won't interfere. This is how Mutalisk attacks avoid hitting the first target with the second bounce.
