I have actually been looking at this section for the past few weeks and its actually how I was able to get this far. But since no one seemed to be having this error, or havent mentioned it at least, I felt the need to make my first post xD
First off this is my very first post on this forum, so apologies if I post this in the wrong area.
I have been trying to import some of the models from Heart of the Swarm, the ones with the prefix "SMX1" to be exact. I am able to esport their .m3 files easily, however when I import them into 3dsmax with the import script, I get a "Error: Unknown Property: "matID" in Undefined." I tried checking off the "Import Materials" checkbox, and when I did, it said "Unknown Property: "matID" in Undefined," So then I went about unchecking things while trying to import, and sadly all I was able to import without fail was just the models themselves, no joints, no skins, no animations.
Could it be that blizz wrote their files differently when they made the Heart of the Swarm assets? If so, is there a way to successfully import these models with all of their properties into 3dsmax?
