Just set the amount under the Resource type behaviour used by them. Although not totally infinite you can get more than most normal games need. An alternative is to have a behaviour on resource depletion that destroys the unit and uses a Create Unit effect to make a replacement. You could also just have a periodic buff use a Modify Unit effect to constantly add more if the resource falls below a certain amount.
