Take a look. For context, Anita Sarkeesian is the creator of the Feminist Frequency website, where she discuss the voluntary and involuntary sexual discrimination in media, disucssing topics such as the flaws behind the trope, among others.
She recently made a Kickstarter for her "Tropes vs. Women in Video Games" project. Ever since, backlash of huge prportions arose, just as stated by the afticle.

Hmmmmm... those harassers are just stupid... They really think that putting in a few insults and a video game will stop her? They clearly don't know that their plan is backfiring because not only will they gain her more publicity and support, but also make her determined to do whatever she can to get women more rights.
After all, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger...
And if they think that women are so bad, then they are technically worse, because women never did that to us, even though they didn't have a chance, they probably wouldn't have anyways...
An interesting crusade, although I can't really see it working. I know exactly the kind of portraying of women she is talking about, but it won't ever stop. Apparently a great many of the game buying base prefers women who wear very little clothing, have outrageous proportions, and are prone to doing more at the drop of the hat. As long as this continues to sell, you better believe it will continue. It isn't until there is no interest in mostly/entirely naked women that this sort of thing will stop. Does anyone honestly see that happening as long as humanity continues? I certainly do not.
Feminism is just awesome to hear about! I love how they don't give a shit about men and only wants women to lead the world. It's pretty much like men a 100 years ago.
In my country some women are being hired for the simple reason of being woman. Feminists thinks that is great, men here don't really care much, but the real women in my country actually hates it because they can no longer compete fairly with men on the job-market because they are given special treatment like they were some kind of retarded minority.
Feminists are the only ones thinking women are the weak sex.
