SC2Mapster

I have been seeing loads of map makers that seem to be extremely European or Eastern European. I mean no disrespect, but that makes learning things pretty hard because they are difficult to understand. Are there any not extremely accented British mapsters or better yet Eastern USA mapsters out there? I wouldn't mind working with some if that means having a partner that I can easily converse with. Like I said before I do not want to be rude, but I personally have a hard time understanding heavy accents from places that don't naturally speak English first.

yeah I guess but I would rather watch. It's better to see how they actually do it then just show you picture after picture. I'm also not really interested in tutorials, more like a voice chat partnership or something. I just want to know that I could if I wanted to.

I suggest to get used to it since most of the people ain't born with english as their mother tongue and sometimes you HAVE to communicate with them. The sooner you learn to understand weird accents the better for you

I find listening to European accents more aesthetically pleasing than listening to American/Canadian ones.

I feel the same way but I'm not going about it the same way. Haven't you watched OneTwo's tuts or even sc2streamster? They aren't that bad. I've seen some bad ones because their volume is low and they have a slightly accent making it hard to hear them. At least it's not as bad as this

who is this 12 everyone keeps talking about?!?!? The only person I know that talks about that stuff is Mozared. The live is all grainy and you don't know who is talking. Sure I understand them but it's all candid and badly choreographed.

I don't even know what this thread is about :D You don't like it that tutorial guys have bad a english accent or that people on your team have it? Or both? The website is text based, so what does it have to do with anything?

Reaper, you do NOT want to watch the first half an hour of the new mapcraft episode, believe me...

all of those streams seem rather pointless to me anyway. They get like 8 viewers and nothing happens. You guys just talk and nothing gets done. All complaints or interviews and stuff. Make a map or trigger something.

Hey, listen up. Youre lucky to have video tutorials at all. If you cant stand them, use the text based ones. If those dont satisfy you, try putting in some effort and learn it yourself and then write/record better ones.

I am on the eastern part of the US and I understand everyone fine! I love this website, I've been here for a long time, since the early beta stages. We are a multi-racial/ethnic community. Live with it you racist pig.

EDIT: BTW I live in the US, and I can understand everyone just fine. I mean, they are speaking English.
