Build: 16223(or patch 1.02)
Dependancies(exact order): Liberty Story(Campaign)
Liberty(Campaign)
Liberty(Mod)
OK, so I created a unit(structure) based off of Engineering Bay. I've got the models and actors all perfect, everything has proper icons everywhere, shows up on map properly, shows up properly when running a test. I created a new button, used an existing icon file(simple). Everytime I edit the command card on my new structure, all the buttons disappear, including the original buttons. I tried scrapping the existing command card, and starting over; didn't work.
I also had another issue with button field values resetting, this was fixed by running repair(it had to repair Core.scmod, I believe). I have since started a new map after the repair, just in case. I tried adding Liberty(Mod) dependancy, I had just the Campaign dependancies to start with.
I am completely stuck on making a custom research structure with Story Lab and Armory upgrades.
Are you using the simplified visual editor for the command card? I have yet to have a problem editing it that way rather then the more war3/coded version
Yeah, when I cleared the card to start from scratch I used the coded side, but then switched to "visual" to add buttons and such.@RighteousRage: Go
I just tried creating a map, quick way didn't change dependancies and I still have the problem. I'm thinking there may be another corrupted file that the repair didn't pickup. Partly because I added the last dependancy file (Liberty Multi) and the magic button field value resetting trick reappeared.
Tried uninstalling SC2, made sure EVERYTHING was gone, still have the same problem. Is there a propertie I'm missing? Not even the normal buttons show up, not just my custom button. As soon as I edit the command card, BAM, it doesn't work any longer.@robncnp1: Go
Really, I mean REALLY!!?? At 1:30a, when I have to be up @ 5 frickin 30 I find out you have to have ANOTHER button linking to command card 1 when linking to another card, then what the heck is the cancel submenu ability for? Retarded number of HOURS trying to figure this out . . . .

Em, what do you mean? Cancel is for returning to default submenu (1). You can link a button to any CC. Whats the problem with that?
