I've tried for hours to get a barrack to build a reactor, or even a tech lab, but it doesn't seem to be working. I can get the barrack to train a unit or research an ability, but not build an add-on.
I have this:
Unit - Order Barracks (x) to (Build Reactor) (Replace Existing Orders)
The same code is used to train a unit or research, so I don't understand why it won't work. I've changed the Order: Order With No Target, to any order with target unit/point/region, and it still doesn't work. So does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Thanks a bunch.
Under your command card for the building, You need to set the button it self to Ability Command, Set the ability for Add on, Im not sure the name of your building but it will be X - AddOns, then select the add on you want. I just tested it to make sure. I have a supply depot with an add on reactor :O
Thanks. Go figure that after hours of searching the web and this site, that 2 minutes before I created this post someone had the same question and an answer. Funny how things work out.
