I have tried several times to create a 'passive' cleave ability that the hero can also level. I've searched this forum quite thoroughly and the only other post I found with a similar question was left unanswered.
Basically I want to be able to make a cleave ability, similar to the Ultralisks that I can level up. Ideally it would use a percentage of the units damage rather than a flat amount. The hero would not start with the ability and it would always be active when the unit attacks.
Any help with this problem would be appreciated.
Also is there anyway to create an ability to use potions out of your inventory? And if the potions are different levels it prioritizes the 'best'.

solved the cleave question with multiple 'areas' on a damage effect, each with an individual validator.
