When I test my TD map on BNET, it will not let me put all players on one team. This creates a couple of problems for me.
1 - If one person builds a tower that is too close to the opposite team's tower they attack each other. While I made the towers invulnerable to damage, they still attack each other and not the waves as the pass buy.
2 - The towers will attack an opposing players builder as well. Again, I made them invulnerable, but the towers will attack the builder and not the wave spawns.
It will only let me make it 2 teams of 3. My TD is supposed to be all on one team vs the computer's spawned waves. Plus the computer player (the spawning waves) does not show up. Any help is appreciated.
On a side note - any one know any good tutorials or links for help on difficulty and/or resource gain per kill balancing? Thanks.
You should be able to use triggers to make all players treat each other as allies. Also, if you make everything invulnerable and make the weapon exclude invulnerable targets it should work as well.
However, towers might shoot at an allied player's waves.
