Yep. Find out the missle's actor and add an event to set it's scale.
Here's a vid of it in action, actually since I used this for one of my custom ability.
The ability is called Rising Bile, it fires a "bile" and after it lands, it grows in size, until finally exploding and dealing AoE dmg.
The throwing effect is a missile with a mover that gives a nice arc, then when it impacts it triggers another missile with no mover, however it also runs an event with a set scale property with some blend parameters set

is it possible to scale missiles? because i use 10% scaled units and it looks strange if the wmissile of one is biger than the unit itself

Missiles are 'units' with models too, so why not? :P
