I've noticed that too actually... been a problem for me since the beta restarted. I don't remember this happening with the older version of the map editor? Texture painting, cliff placement, and just general terrain stuff all lags.
wow good call... that is really strange but thanks for the heads up! What really throws me off is why is affects cliffs and terrain heights also, but good to know. Keep texture painting on the fast setting.

Before everything used to be fine, but now placing cliffs lags the crap out of my editor, even on a blank map. Any suggestions?
I've tried setting the video settings to low and I'm running on 2x 285's, so I don't think it's my GPU.

Ive noticed one time that the editor was only using one of my cores a while ago and i had the same issue.

Is there a fix?
Anyone else? :P
I could really use some help here :(

Weird, I was working on a cinematic and it suddenly returned to normal.
I think it might have something to do with the "Slow - Fast" setting in terrain texturing.
Edit: Yep.
