I'm quite new to editing still, and I haven't touched the editor much. But I decided to actually try and finish a decent map this time (:
So, my biggest problem right now is getting it started. I plan on having a "selectable" team/solo game depending on what the players want. Also, taking the majority vote, they will be transferred to the next map where they can do whatever they need to do. After that is completed, they will be taken to the next map with no selection and so on.
So, it should look like a tree. At "start", 2 branches labeled "team" and the other "solo". From those come one line with the name of the next challenge, and so on until the game is over.
A good example I can think of is "Impossible Scenario" map.
Could someone teach me how to execute the Map within a Map feature and the most "efficient" selection method?
Unless the "maps" you are planning to have are very large, simply build several sections within the same map and use "Set Playable Map Area" to limit the map to a certain section. You can set it to the start section at the beginning and after vote you can set it to another section. This way you won't have another loading screen, you just use the same map you already loaded. You could also easily return players to start area and let them pick another "map" when they've completed the one they chose.
Be warned though, I haven't tried this myself, but at least it will give you something to start with.

Thank you!

Ahh thanks! I was considering that and remembered that's how the Impossible Scenario Maps work. I'll see if my "maps" fit haha. Thanks (:
Any other suggestions to actually put maps in maps haha
