So, I'm working on creating a map aimed at long melee games (1v1, most likely). For this, I would like to set up several barriers on the map, making it impossible for ground troops to pass these. These barriers would then over time break down (suggestions on how to make such an animation?), with a countdown associated (aka, "5 minutes until first wall breaks down"), opening up the route for ground troops to more of the map. Then later, another one, and so on.
I have absolutely no idea on where to start off with this, I am completely bedaffled. Triggers or something?
Help on sending me in the right direction would be much appreciated!
No one? Not even a hint in the right direction? I mean, what am I looking for here? Data? Trickers? Actors? These are words I know, but have no idea what mean :S
umm.... well you could make a new unit but you prolly dont know how to do that you could
Preplace one of the destructable pathing blockers on the terrain then in trigger set this destructable doodad = invulnerable
then have and even trigger at a certain time remove the doodad and allow units through
