Now this may a bit of a nub question. But I've ran into twice where I realized a part of the map I wanting to use is actually part of the non playable part, and nothing can be placed there. Is there a way to make a map larger after its been edited OR to get ride of the non playable area OR be able to see the non playable area in the editor. Any help would be highly appreciated :).

yes go to map bounds menu and check |"modify map bounds", then enlarge it as much as you want(to the limits ofc).
the only downside is that your undo/redo thingy is resetted, you get a warning about that aswell.
Oh Thank you SO MUCH! :D I was worried I'd have to start all over again :)

No worries man, had the same issue hehe. Started with 64x64 or so and now I'm on 192x192 :P
OH speaking of map sizes how do you Make the Units As in marine Hero's ETC bigger and smaller in scale ???? / mass.
you need to edit the actor of the unit in the data editor
