Hi, I came here because I have a problem about inventory.
I made two of them with different container, different button, different capacity for two heroes. When I open the first inventory, everything is perfect. But when I open the second one, the slots of the second one are add to the slots of the first one, and after that it's the same for the first inventory.
Both Inventories are activated, not just stockaging items. Even when I put one inventory to the right and the other to the left, the problem persists
I tried to change the ID of the capacities but it didn't work.
are they just stacked on eachother? maybe try making the zealot open on the right, and ghost on the left. give it a whirl! :) or when you click the button for 'open inventory' make it auto close the other inventory so only 1 is open at a time. i dont see a problem with only having 1 open at a time, though it would be good if they were both open and if the units were in range you could swap items.
I tried the right/left one no effect. and I always close my first inventory before opening the second one. So only one is open at time (the proof is I don't have the model of the templar behind the one of the ghost) but the slots are merged
If you mean whether I close the offending inventories before opening the counterpart, then yes. This stacking effect occurs regardless of whether an inventory was closed after opening it.
However, if the inventory is never opened, the stacking doesn't occur. And that's no good.
I have the same, but it's not what i'm asking, I was talking about checking the box "active" for the slots of the inventories which cause the problem (item container (or whatever it's named in english) => inventory (the name of one of your problematic inventory) => slot+ (or whatever the name in english ) => select one of your items categories and in the bottom, just over the collumn and the line have you check the active box?
In other word, is it a problem with your normal inventory or is it a problem with your equipement inventory?
In the image I attached, "Ship Loadout" is all Equipped/Active slots. The offending 4x2 is from CharInvo, as you can see by the picked-up Item. CharInvo has no Equipped/Active slots.
Ok, thanks so it's not related to the active check. And you have this problem with only two inventories, not the third... Are they all attached to the same hero?
I'm also having this issue, can't seem to find a fix, I'm guessing it may be a glitch with the editor. If anyone finds a work around it would be greatly helpful.
I have a equip and storage on a hero and a simple storage on a building, the storage on the building merges with the hero's equipment. If i place the same hero equip/store on the hero and the building there is no problem, but as soon as I use a 2nd inventory the fusion happens.
I did report this to blizzard, no luck with them fixing it yet I guess. That or we are all doing something wrong, but I think if that was the case I would have figured it out within the last 3 months.

Thanks for helping me and sorry for my english.

Ok so :
This one is the inventory of my ghost hero when I didn't open the other one:

This one is the inventory of my dark templar hero when I didn't open the other one (so I had to launch a second test game to have it):

This one is the ghost inventory once I open both inventories:

I am having the same issue. Interestingly it doesn't seem to affect another Container that is Left-aligned. http://img404.imageshack.us/img404/81/sc2containeroverlappick.jpg
The container affected are they all "active" check moronsonofboron?
My problem just concerns equipement inventories.

Sorry I didn't get back to you earlier on this.

Ok if it's a glitch I'm going to report it in the official forum.
I'm french so if anyone could do the same in the US forum (I'm going to do it in the English EU forum) it would be helpful.

For me it appears to be a visual only glitch, but it does happen.
Got this problem too. Very annoying.

Same problem in my map as well. I don't think there is a way to fix it, you just have to deal with it until blizzard patches.
so does this bug happen to any map using the default inventory?
what if theres only 1 container, abilty, that all the heroes use? would the inventories also bug out and fuse sometimes?
