The first thing you will need when making maps is patience. It will also be the first and second things you will need when asking for help. Most people won't go doing anything for beginners. Take the time to read a few tutorials they will help you lots.
It is your 8th post here on SC2Mapster don't quit yet :-)
And for the number of interceptors check in the Carrier hangar the requirement it uses, there you will find what you seek.
I have never seen you here before, so that's why you didn't here an answer from me.
So I'll just do this now: Welcome to sc2mapster! Feel free to send me a PM if you need anything or have any questions! :D
I'm not a data expert, I'm more focused towards triggering and scripts. But from what I know, it's a behavior or ability on the carrier that allows it to hold interceptors. That behavior or ability uses a requirement to tell it to stop building more interceptors (I think). Find that requirement and change it to allow for more.

Making up an idea is much quicker then implementing it and most people that have the capacity to create maps have ideas of their own they want to create. So it's up to you to make the ideas into reality. You are the one that best understands your own idea anyway.
If you post a question related to data editing in the "map suggestions/requests" forum then you should not be amazed that you get little amount of response.
Please remember that people around here are not paid to answer your question, they do it on their own will. Every answer you do get should be greatly appreciated. On top of that not everyone knows the answer to your question, so be patient and grateful, why would anyone want to help someone that is ungrateful?
If you need a lot of help you might be working on something too ambitious. Try something simple first, it's more rewarding to find something simple yourself and see it work then to ask others to make it for you. Looking at some beginner tutorials will help you on the way and might give you some ideas that are cool in the map that you just learned how to to!
In the end all those that now are experts in map making are the ones that explored it themselves and through trial and error managed to figure it out. Don't be afraid to explore yourself or be afraid to fail a couple of time. It's part of the process.
lol I didn't say anything wrong therefore only you posted a negative comment.
No one said anything about wrong, just read your first post up here again and you'll see what he meant.
Anyway, first of all, there's a search function, I'm sure there are at least 5 threads that mention how to increase number of interceptors in carriers. It's got to do with requirements.
Second of all, check the stickies. In either tutorial or general (There was talk about moving it on the mod forums, not sure whether anyone went through with it yet) there is a "Mapster Mentoring" thread. There you will find a long list of people, what parts of the editor they are good in, and various ways to contact them, most of them accept PMs, while quite a few even give skype, MSN, or other contact details.
And even then, you can take a look at the people posting in the data, trigger or terrain sections and see which people seem to know a lot of stuff. If you look through the data threads, I'm sure you'll run across the names and posts of DrSuperEvil and Kueken a lot, so one thing to do when no one helps you is find someone that can and message them. It's usually not that you're being ignored, but that your posts are buried somewhere where the people that know the answer won't find it.
And yea, make sure to post in the correct forums ofc.
Last but not least: Welcome to sc2mapster! Check out the Map Night threads (Stickied in the general forums), Sc2streamster (stickied as well), and as I said before, the mapster mentoring thread!
As a welcome gift, I hereby give you the permission to buy us all a round of drinks.
You can PM me with data problems, but I don't have access to the editor since my computer died last week, and I don't know the names of fields by heart, so if you're a beginner at the data editor, I think you might be better off with asking someone else who can give you more exact details.
I replied to your other post about the mothership's attacks and carrier's interceptors, though the reply wasn't something a complete beginner would fully understand.
It would take a long time to explain every detail, you need to familiarize yourself with the editor first, then the answers you'll get will make a lot more sense.
P.S. Data editor, open Game Data->Requirement tab, open the requirement called "Arm Interceptor". Modify the field Requirement - Node Link, select the constant 8 and modify that number to whatever you want.
Yeah, what Stragus said. It's kinda like having someone with no programming knolledge ask someone how to make a 3D game, and then quitting when they can't help you. Well, of course they can't! There are people who charge tons of money for tutoring on things like that. Mapping is different, but just as time consuming to learn. You are going to have to scan through the tutorials, and also check out Mapster Mentoring. In that thread you will find tons of people who have volunteered to help with questions.
The forums are usually for more advanced, specific questions, sometimes involving multiple steps. Could you get an answer for a basic question? Sure, but it is likely that you will get a lot of responses like "Here is the answer, but I would recommend reading some tutorials". If you truly are a noob, I would recommend checking out the below video. OneTwo's tutorials is how I learned how to map.
lol I didn't say anything wrong therefore only you posted a negative comment.
But you whine like a little girl hiding in a closet. You seem to lack a basic understanding of the search function. Your reading comprehension is also lacking if you thought dumping every thread into the same section (in particular this section) was the right place to go. We have CLEARLY labeled forum sections for questions and tutorials.
You're not going to get much sympathy until you learn some common sense.
Is there a chance of 0% somebody would make it for me ?
and not many ppl are answering my question..
Is it always like this ?
I think I should give up. I need so much help but I'm not getting enough.
I couldn't even find where i can make more than 8 interceptors for a carrier.
This is too much stress and time for not much of a entertainment.
I'll give you my experience with the editor, but if you want the short version basically what everyone else has said is correct. The SC2 editor is not exactly friendly to someone who wants to make something simple, the tools within the editor are complex and take time to learn. If you are interested in making a map, awesome! Just understand that it took our team NCS months of sitting down and learning every last detail we could about the tools at our disposal and there are still some areas that we don't have a complete understanding of. Overall this is the right place to be, the tutorials section should be calling your name by now go check it out do some simple ones just to get a grasp on the basic tools then it will be much easier for us to help you.

Okay... You sound like Eiviyn's gay boy friend. :D
I wasn't being offensive at all. I just thought why would anybody make a map for someone when I don't get much answers.
I wasn't saying these people are all azz holes or anything. Did I ? Or does your reading sucks ? :D No offense.
While you didn't call them assholes, only addresing responses against you kind of implies that you are ignoring any constructive criticism handed to you.

Locking this thread. It's pretty obvious the OP is either trolling or doesn't really care to listen to the advice being given to him.
