's gameplay is a bit specific and I would hope people would be interested in trying it :D When ready, there should be 13 heroes (6 per "faction" and a special one you can win through exploit), right now there are 8 unfinished wip heroes but they are functional and one can already playtest the map!
WARNING: THIS MAP IS HARD
The map concept is simple :
1v1 or 3v3 or 1v6 versus the center LegionCorp computer enemy..
or just a bunch of friends having fun versus the map :D
You can play on your own and play all heroes on their own one by one.
...
You select a hero at the start..
and play with it until it dies or you win with it (they are very powerful but also get killed easily...)!
When/If your hero dies you select another available (from either "faction") ..until either team is out of heroes
or all the players have been beaten by the computer enemy.
You start with a pseudo randomly located spawn with a command center and scvs to obtain standard resources AND you have to retain a building to be in the game (buildings can be acquired or built).
Two opposing factions separate the hero alignment, both factions need to stop the center LegionCorp opponent to win. These factions start out allied with the LegionCorp and will become enemies once one of the two's "Fortress" is destroyed. You can select heroes from either faction!
Finishing the map in itself for beginners requires team work or at least that the computer opponent have several fronts to contend with (as it is rather on the hard bend) :D
...
...
i would appreciate any feedback from people playtesting it <3
Sorry for any bugs, this is still a wip not a finished product <3 Questions? you want to play it with me? just ask and i will pop on sc2 <3

ps: map is on eu.. if asked i'll post it on elsewhere,
Questions i ask myself about rts game development of my maps in general and of this one in particular:
Should i disavow the selection of the opponent faction heroes once you have chosen the first one?
(Depending on the previous question's answer)
How many heroes per faction?
as is (6 or 7 max per faction) or more?
_-
When i started this map i envisioned a HARD map with 13 heroes total, the first team to have no more heroes loses.
The first hero choice decides the faction of the player(s), you would have 6 heroes available,
then a 1v1 2v2 3v3 1v6 ..would ensue.
(with the "death mechanic", in 3v3 players would end up "specializing" in the use of two heroes (up to their choosing), in 2v2 they would use 3 heroes, in all cases one by one)
In 1v1 i unlock these heroes quicker* to ramp up the stakes (adding multi hero control to the skills available) and end the game quicker kreygasm!
Now that i am faced with the choice .. not sure anymore Kappa! furthermore even if i feel the "free open city concept" wish making its comeback strong .. i'm still kind of perplexed at the "obligation" to choose between the two "distinct" gameplay requirements demanded by lthe "lost players in an open city with total freedom" and the "easy peezy quick frameworked gameplay"!
(*) Several ways, with or without death of the heroes involved!
To make things easy at the start (good heavens players are difficult and they expect for authors to conform to "their" norm of how things should be done, lol)
i added a "1team" trigger
that makes all players in game allies versus the computers..
this interface allows for players to set up their teams "in game" (hopefully it works :D )
and to look at the heroes up close before choosing, at their own pace.
At the start, any player typing "1team" in chat will start it,
then (IF player who created the game selected "NO FIXED ALLIANCE that is (pogchamp) ) the players can choose who they are allied to .. from a free for all to a 3v3.
It obviously works if you are playing solo and however many players are in game with you.
