Please forgive me for sounding stupid before, I guess I wasn't quite sure what I wanted to ask or how to ask it. Let me try to say this in a better way. I'd like to say hi to the guys out there that are closest to me. Out of the millions of SC2 fans out there, and out of the probably thousands that visit this website, how many of you are American born citizens? And out of those how many of you take an active role in improving this website and helping others? I have seen loads of people from other places join in, why can't we? Is there something stopping Americans from making great maps? I didn't think so. If you look at most of the helpful videos out there (thanks for making them guys, saved my a$$ a few times ;) ) most of them are made by people that seem to be from the European or Asian continent. I most certainly do not have a problem with this but I was curious if there were any Americans doing something like this as well (other than onetwo that is).
I've never seen a tut from an Asian person. Also OneTwoSC just look him up on youtube. He might not be releasing much tutorials right now but I bet he will release some explaining a few features in the map he's working on when it's done.
Also Americans are lazy. It's not a racist comment it's just true. General fact is we don't want to use the camera because we're probably fat or too lazy or don't want to talk in public. There are probably a lot of written guides out there from Americans because it's just typing. Why do you need a tutorial or guide anyways? Just ask someone or go to newbie wednesday and ask zeldarules. That's what I usually do, just ask him after he's done or if he's got nothing happening much. That way it also helps newbies out if it's simple enough and it helps you out.
I don't need one really, I was just hoping to learn that some people from my country are taking an active role in doing something that I'm interested in. OneTwo is just one guy, I was hoping there were going to be lots more.
I'm American, and I have a bunch of tutorials. Taco man is American, too. Both him and me host sc2streamster days. I believe he has quite a lot of data work and explanations on the forum.

Like I said majority of americans are lazy. Hence why the popularity is full of bad maps. Oh wait that's universal pretty much so nvm. I fall back to they are camera shy or too lazy.

Considering Americans take fewer working holidays than most other countries, I don't think it's accurate to say "the majority of Americans are lazy." I don't think there's enough data to confirm or deny any bias of presence in the Sc2Mapster community as far as country of origin. It could just be random chance. Or there could be no legitimate lack of American input at all. Maybe it's all in your head!

With the wonderful invention that is the internet, what the fuck does it matter where a mapmaker is from? (battle.net regions aside)
