yes! someone who shares my teeny tiny frustration =D
Sorry it won't be. You just have to click on BBCode only ONCE every time you login. Newer posts and still logined, your markup will continue to be BBCode.
I still don't get why wiki is default! wiki = fail for forum commenting. When i press enter, it SHOULD make a new line for me to type
Also one of my frustrations when I started coming here, I got a bit used to WikiCreole and now I only change to BBCode once in a while when I can't be arsed to look up the wikicreole "command" (like when I want to set some of my text in a different color).
On to your question, I believe that there currently isn't a way to set another markup as default, but make a suggestion for it here and it might get looked at.
Like queen gambit said, the browser does save cache of your account. I usually never log out and i'm still there, whatever markup i choose the last time stays as default though
The problem is I visit the forum a lot at work ( :P ) and I do not want to save the login information on those computers. Ok, I'll post the suggestion to that thread and see if this can be improved.

Because I'm used to BBCode. In fact, sc2mapster is the only forum that I visit frequently that doesn't have BBCode as default.
